Better than the laptop speakers, one wired connection. Great for voice communication. No great for music, but not bad either. Very small footprint (fits under the front of my monitor.

Perfect size – It fits under the monitor easily saving desk space.
Sound quality – It sounds like an inexpensive speaker, very little bass, but the sound is balanced and perfect for voices (video calls) and watching YouTube videos. If you want to listen to music, pony up some more money and get better speakers.
Controls – This unit does not have any volume control buttons as pictured in some of the reviews, but has a smooth finish on all sides. I use my keyboard to control the volume, which I prefer.
Connections – via a USB cable only, no power cord, which I also prefer.
I would recommend this speaker to someone looking for a simple speaker, someone who’s needs are pretty basic.

Good sound with Fx EQ
This worked straight out of the box. It over rode my crummy laptop speakers. Only one cord to plug in to the USB outlet.
I was initially underwhelmed by only ok sound but then downloaded Fx equalizer which really improved the sound. Several modes were on it, Jazz, pop etc. I selected Classic and am now listening to the Kreutzer sonata. It is as good as my high end car speakers, i.e. not HIFI but very satisfactory.

This is a great speaker. It fts nicely on my desk. It was easy to connect. I like that it does not have the bright flashing color some of the other models have. It has great sound and is easy to use.

The speakers claim to have “Stereo Loud Sound,” but it’s more like “Stereo Audible Whisper.” You have to crank the volume up to 85-90 just to hear the difference from your laptop’s built-in speakers. All About That Bass? Not Really:
The “Enhanced Deep Bass” is like a kiddie poolâshallow and not that exciting. Sure, there’s a little oomph, but it’s more like a polite cough than a bass drop.

Don’t get this if you need good sound quality
These speakers sound fine, but you’ll quickly notice that they’re constantly warbling, as if the sounds are speeding up and slowing down constantly; like an old cassette tape. It’s not enough to make the experience miserable, but you will absolutely start to notice it and then never stop noticing it.
The mute button isn’t a real mute button; it mutes the speakers, but does not actually send a mute signal to what you have it plugged into. The volume controls work as you would expect otherwise, and adjust the volume on the OS. But the mute button is separate and doesn’t work that way.
They’re good in a pinch, if you just need something to plug in and hear noises.
