Average Sound Quality
The plug and play feature work great but the sound is average. You can hear the audio clearly.
BH –
Good tone
I like this speaker – it as good tone and it is easy to set the volume or turn it in a different direction when you go to another area.

Good sound.
Only one USB cable needed to connect and big volume knob easy to adjust. Good for watching movie.

It’s just not great.
Update: I have reduced it to one star because I hate it. I suspected the USB hook up was at odds with HDMI cable plugged into my monitor
I went into settings, turned the monitor speakers off, and defaulted to *this* speaker. It only works when it seems to want to. I cannot discern the pattern of when it works and when it won’t This is way more troubleshooting I want to do for a plug-and-play device.
If (it is working) I plug in my (wired) ear buds, the sound still plays through the speaker.
A lot of the time it does not work at all. I am glad I did not invest much more money in it. That said, it has taken up a lot of frustration and time from my life.

I bought a monitor with crappy speakers. All I wanted was something I could control by dial and a place for earbuds. This seemed to be a good solution.
But this thing does neither. I don’t know how to say it otherwise. It is plugged into a USB port all the time. Dial is turned to on (mid-way) all the time. But it only seems to want to work about 30% of the time.
I purchased it to compensate for poor monitor speakers, and to offer me a headphone jack for private listening.
It’s cheap. excpect cheap.
