A Game-Changer for Outdoor Adventures and Emergencies!
I bought the Jackery Explorer 600 Plus after reading countless positive reviews, and it has quickly become one of the most useful gadgets I own. During a recent camping trip, it powered our small fridge and charged multiple devices without breaking a sweat. What really impressed me was how fast it recharges—just an hour, and I was good to go again! The lightweight design made it easy to transport, and setting it up with a solar panel was super straightforward. It’s also been a lifesaver at home during power outages, keeping my essentials running smoothly.

    Well made, works great.
Solid and well made. Holds charge a very long time, not sure how long yet because I have had it still is holding a full charge. Great design. Great customer service, very responsive. I had ordered a popular competitor brand and it was defective upon receipt. Really happy with this brand and model.

    great backup battery
Lots of power outages in my area, this is a great solution for local power back up. use it for my CPAP machine (using a 12 volt to CPAP adaptor it lasts at least two nights). Plenty of functions and light enough to carry around the house or into the car. Big improvement to the lead/acid car battery I had been using.
Consider that you get 1. battery, 2, charger, 3. inverter in one package it is a great deal. Just pick the capacity you anticipate.

At first I thought it didn’t work
I am knocking 1 star off for the unit not coming with an in car cigarette adapter dc cable. You’ll actually need to get a D8020 cable to fit the DC input for this unit. Typically one would buy this unit while going camping. It has a solar charger which is great, but on the other hand you are also driving from point to point during camping and there must be an included accessory that it comes with, a car charger cable. Jackery should not cheap out on this. Please include a DC adapter. I noticed your $20 unit was out of stock and a $10 unit with same specs was available on Amazon. It would have completed the parts needed to run this battery smoothly.
I have read reviews stating the solar charger never worked. And that’s what I thought in the beginning. I plugged in the solar. I got my diagnostic equipment out and realized the solar power was working optimally. Upon close inspection of the plug I noticed that the plug has an adapter that converted the connection to a slimmer center pin. I noticed that you could pull that adapter out and expose the proper size thicker center socket that would fit the DC input of my particular jackery 800 plus batter system. So if you think the solar charger isn’t working then check the connection of your DC input. It could be a slightly thicker center pin than the charging cable you were provided with. I believe they are labeled as D8020 or D7919. D8020 has the thicker center pin while D7919 has the smaller one. A D7919 male connnector can fit in a D8020 female plug but it won’t work as the center pin is not as thick as it needs to be. So double check your solar or other DC power input cable to make sure that it has a thicker center connector adapter.

    Perfect for short outages
I live in Florida where we have hurricanes that occasionally knock out power for a few days. I purchased this after the last one and haven’t used it in practice but tried it out to test its capabilities. It will run my refrigerator, make my toast, brew my coffee and power my microwave. I purchased the Jackery 200 solar panel directly from Jackery as it is not sold through Amazon. I’ll update this after our next hurricane.

    Essential Kit
The Jackery has proven to be one of the most useful items I own for camping and emergency use. I already own two and another is to be delivered today. During hurricanes I am able to run our CPAP machines, keep my daughter’s insulin pump charged, and charge all phones, etc. In the morning, I connect them to the solar panels and top off the charge. In disaster situations, gasoline for the generator is a precious commodity to be conserved for the fridge to store insulin, run the well for showers, etc. The Jackery really helps support us whenever we need the power. I learned of the Jackery by accident, and I am very happy I did.

I had to set the record straight.
This portable power station gets the job done! It provides power at the rate I needed but you actually have to know what power you need! You can’t expect it to provide beyond its rated output. I knew I wanted this to power my refrigerator or my freezer but not both at the same time. My fridge draws 750 watts but not continuously. It varies from 750w to 100w depending on where it is during the cooling cycle. The freezer runs between 220w and 90w during its cycle. It ran my fridge during a power outage here for 7.75 hrs then shut off as I had set it to at 15%. This is settable via the app which I absolutely love as it allows me to keep track of the remaining charge, watts output and input plus I can turn on or off the light or any off the output sections like USB or AC. This power station works as advertised, its relatively small and light weight compared to my 1000+. It is easy to pack up and down my basement stairs. When I had a question about the jack sizes for solar charging I got an same day answer from Jackery. I look at the negative reviews and compare it to my own experiences and I have to think that most of the complaints are user induced problems. They didn’t determine the power they needed before hand. It will deliver 632 watt hours so I know before hand that if my fridge runs continuously at 750W it is not going to last an hour. Hope this helps.

    When I need it most!
This jackery is so great! when the power went out ,i just plugged my computer and phone in and a light lamp and I was so happy I bought it. I use it a lot as a portable power for my guitar amp.

Works well but I’ve order 2 and both of them don’t display the wattage when my iPhone is plugged into the ac port have to use the usb c port for it to display wattage draw

The customer service, product packaging and design are very good…no doubt about it. However, the unit I received did not hold its charge.
Over a 24 hour period and not being used or plugged in the unit went form 100% to about 30%. A product reset did not fix the issue.
Since this product was non-returnable through Amazon I had to go to the product’s manufacturer’s help system. After serveral attempts calling the phone number shown on the product booklet it became clear they did not have a functioning phone number.
The email contact for this product was very helpful and after multiple messages, a soft reboot and submitting a video of the unit showing the 24 hour power loss (thanks to my cell phone abiltiy to create a video from screen grabs) it was approved for return to the companies agent.
Amazon sent me a UPS shipping label and after it was received by the agent I received a refund through a very polite service agents.
After this experience the purchase of Jackery products is unlikely.

I purchased the Jackery 600 Plus to power my medical equipment. I live off grid in my van in Northern Canada, annd previously I used a Jackery 500 and an 240 for my needs. I upgraded to the LiFePO4 battery, and my older 500 went to a woman who was living without power. My other Jackerys were charged while driving and from my solar panels. No car charging cable is supplied with the unit – just a 110V cable. This Jackery uses a different pin in its cable, but there is no mention of this on the Amazon site.
There are, it seems, no car charging cables available in North America at this time. Dealing with Jackery Customer service has been very challenging. They have apparently shut down their email as multiple emails sent to them through their site form were returned as not accepted. I have spent many, many hours on hold; I have spoken with 2 customer service agents, one of whom absolutely promised that he would call me back within the day and I have stayed in town, on the grid with no reply at all from them.
This item CANNOT be returned to Amazon through normal channels as it is hazardous material.
So, there are other companies with much better customer service out there – perhaps Delta Flow – and their cables are all included. I want Jackery to accept this unit for refund. Check the BBB listings to see what they think of their dealings with Jackery before purchasing.

  12. Johannes Paszek

Product is fine until it isn’t. I used it as a solar charged power station. From one day to the other the unit is on 0% charge and just shows error code F3, indicating a dead battery. I received this unit 2 weeks ago.
Looking at the reviews, I don’t seem to be the only person having those issues.
The Jackery Explorer 600Plus is not even listed anymore for sale on Amazon, so I assume there’s a huge number or recalls going on.
Contactes Jackery Support. Phone calls just get dropped. 24/7 via Mail? Well it’s been 72 hours now since I contacted them and I haven’t heard back.

  13. Dwayne Reiser

Product would not accept a battery charge. Non-returnable. $699 + tax gone. Avoid this company at all costs.
That’s the last big ticket item I buy from Amazon
