Small but mighty
This chainsaw has proven itâs worth on our property. It lives in the 4-wheeler and is the first choice for clearing trails and cutting downed trees. The only trick is to fill the bar oil only 3/4 full to prevent it from leaking. We were so impressed with this chainsaw that we got the companion tree pruner. It made quick work of cleanup after hurricane helene brought a bunch of trees down over the driveway.

Great chainsaw
This has been great for trail management, cleaning up hunting sites, sectioning up small trees for campfire wood, cutting low branches. The charge on a battery lasts a good while. It think the estimation of 60 cuts is accurate, though I wasn’t counting the trees were cut. There were many. I suppose one could buy another battery if they need longer life, but I think the idea of this saw is for those quick little jobs here and there, not all day lumberjacking…

Works great
Works great for around the yard stuff like down limbs. Not for dropping big trees but is handy for around the yard or trail riding! Instead of having to crank your chainsaw every 50 yards to cut limbs! Just make sure you carry extra batteries!

So far impressive little chainsaw.
Got this chainsaw for grazing pasture maintenance. Use it to cut small cedars and some other small trees that may not be appropriate for silvopasture development. It is a lot easier to pack this little saw around that my Husqvarna 266, 24″ bar gas saw.

Battery life is good enough for me. I have a 4 amp/hr and 5 amp/hr battery I take with me.
I use canola oil for bar oil and the saw just doesn’t seem to use much bar oil. Seems to use just enough to keep the chain lubricated.
Hope it lasts. I love the little saw.

No starting issues!
I’ve owned several top-quality gas chain saws, and they’re all hard to start. We use a chain saw about every other year, so I did not need a professional grade saw. This one starts easily, and the blade handles all of our projects. I was concerned the blade may not be long enough, but that has not been the case.

Easily cuts through limbs but probably not powerful enough to sever a limb
I’m conjecturing here based on using it one time. I didn’t want a super powerful gas chain saw because these things scare the hell out of me. I had visions of me cutting a leg off or something. So I got this smallish battery powered unit. I liked the fact that it was self oiling too and the price was attractive.
It looked and felt like it was well made. The switches clicked nicely – especially the chain brake. It easily cut through 2 – 3 inch diameter sections though a 6 inch stump took a few minutes. Based on videos I’ve seen I’m sure a gas powered unit would handle that like a stick of butter. However, if there were an accident I could see this thing severing an artery but I think it would slow down when it hit bone. That’s a good thing.

Muchos desconocen que Craftsman pertenece a la misma empresa de Stanley Black – Decker, al igual que DeWalt. Siendo poseedor de la gran mayoria de herramientas que Craftsman ha lanzado (V20), les digo que no tiene nada que envidiarle a DeWalt, de hecho, ni se siente alguna diferencia. Esta motosierra tiene una calidad excepcional! Tanto la cadena, la barra y el motor en si. Debo mencionar que la sierra no es para uso rudo, pero debido a una infestacion de Bambu que hubo en mi terreno en mi ausencia (aprox unos 100 bambus de un grosor de 10 a 15cm cada uno y mas de 10 metros de altura) le he dado un uso diario en esos 5 meses tan brutal, que tenia contemplado comprarme otra porque dudaba que fuese aguantar el trabajo y hasta ahorita ha cumplido increiblemente!!
Las ventajas son que el material del que esta hecho se siente rigido, macizo, de buena calidad. La bateria que incluye (al menos la mÃa) fue de 4ah, lo cual es muy poco para la que lo ocupe. Adquiri una extra de 6ah, y con un uso continuo sin parar dura aprox 30min. La desventaja que le veo es que las baterias de mayor capacidad (9ah) son excesivamente caras, y que toma mucho tiempo cargar completamente las baterias apropiadas para su uso. Otra desventaja es que desperdicia demasiado aceite y se tiene que andar limpiando constantemente ya que el aserrin queda adherido a la cubierta. Pero de ahi en fuera, es muy buena herramienta. Sin duda me compraria otra.

This chainsaw is instant start! No pull cord! Lightweight! Just add bar oil and go! Long lasting battery, cuts steadily through medium sized branches and small logs. Multiple reviews rated battery life the LONGEST among competitors… at this pointl personally , only time will tell… individual charges last long on this saw, and on the wet/dry vacuum as well. This larger battery is twice as long lasting as the standard issue drill battery. (4ah vs 2ah)
I committed to craftsman 20v systems after reading the reviews, and I think it was an excellent decision. I will review their other products as well.

Great for the weekend warrior. Great tool, light, cuts lots. As long as you are not needing to cut bug logs or trees down this is the only tool you will need to clean up the yard in spring. I can fell limb and buck 7-10 eastern red cedar trees per charge depending on height or diameter.
Have not heard of read about anyone else felling trees and even advertised for cleanup
But take from me, it will take some decent sized trees, bar size permitting
