   This is NOT your average generic battery!
   I am impressed and very pleased with this battery!For some reason, it seems that there are a lot of generic tools (mini chain saw, leaf blower, hedge trimmers, etc) that use/accommodate Makita batteries and to be honest, I have a few of the generic batteries that some of those things came with as well. I kind of expected this to be similar quality to those, so when it arrived and I took it out of the box (it arrived wrapped in bubble wrap and packed in a small box) I was REALLY impressed! While it looks simple/generic, this battery is on the same level/ quality as the actual OEM batteries!It fits on the Makita chargers we have perfect. It slides on and off (the charger and the tools) without needing to push or use any force/effort at all. It has the same weight, shape and size as the real deal name brand too. Another thing that sets this apart from other generic batteries- This has a serial number on it and the underside has info about the battery. It doesn’t look like a cheepie at all!When the battery arrived, it was almost fully charged. It took a WHILE to drain this battery! I was surprised because I kept reaching for it, expecting it to die at any moment but it didn’t! I definitely didn’t expect this to charge up that quick (once It did finally die), so I was both shocked and impressed that this went from dead to full in just under an hour!This is a fantastic battery that is well made, quick to charge and a nice long life! Perfect!

   So far, so good! I’ve had aftermarket batteries that didn’t feel as good as this for fitment, and also didn’t last long, less than a year. So I will update this if that is the case, but as a new battery and a new item, I cannot report on longevity just yet. I will at least state this:The battery weight is as you might expect, and depending on your use may or may not be important, but I do not find it to be mentionable one way or the other.The power level button on the back is great to have, especially when you have a bunch of batteries you forget if they’re charged or not, etc.The battery slides onto the tool perfectly, the button releases it just fine. It will all come down to how long power lasts, and for how long the battery lasts with recharges, which is to be seen. Otherwise, a perfectly good battery.

   Indistinguishable from my OEM battery.
   Indistinguishable performance-wise at least. This one has a charge meter that my OEM doesn’t have, so in that way, I actually prefer it. My drill puts out slightly more torque with this battery than when I use the original, but I attribute that to the age of my original battery. This battery arrived with nearly a full charge and when I inserted it into my tools, it fit perfectly. The charging time is the same as my old battery as well.Time will tell how long this battery will last, but right now, it’s a great replacement for my impact drill and impact driver.I actually used it just today to drill some 3/8inch pilot holes for some garage hooks into 2x4s. Handled 8 of these holes with ease.

   Works well and Ah are correct
   Batteries are on par with the capacity of a 3.0Ah and last just as long. Charger works on these batteries and all the OEM ones I have, A bit pricier than other aftermarket, but the batterers are good quality and state the Ah correctly. Many aftermarket batteries overstate and that is why I point this out, Still less expensive than the OEM batteries so this makes it a good deal.
