Our youngest child is graduating from college this spring, so we purchased this Mallrace laptop as a graduation gift. I am impressed with the quality and performance of this PC and believe it will meet all their needs. They will use this for gaming as well as work.
This PC has a nice bright 16″ display, a full-size keyboard, and a large touchpad. The build quality is very high, with a slim and light, all-metal case. This laptop feels like a high-end device, and has a lot of small touches that suggests strong engineering & design.
Powering this device is a Intel Alder Lake N97 processor, along with 16GB of RAM and a 512gb SSD. The display is a Full HD IPS panel at 1920×1080 pixels. Windows 11 comes pre-installed, so it is ready to go out of the box.
The laptop has a wide range of ports including HDMI, three USB 3.2, USB-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a TF card socket. There is also an integrated security lock slot. The stereo speakers are mounted on either side of the keyboard and provide great sound.
One of the things I like about this PC is that I could easily upgrade the memory and SSD. By removing 10 screws from the bottom of the case, I was able to open the case to get to the memory and storage. It was extremely easy to pop out the 16GB and replace it with 32GB, and I plan to get an additional SSD to use as a backup. I have upgraded other laptops that were very difficult to get to the memory banks–not this one, as it took all of 10 minutes to remove the back and replace the chips.
I really like the performance of this laptop. The processor is fast, the screen is bright, and there is zero bloatware loaded with Windows. The software includes a gaming application that lets you customize some of the performance settings to optimize the PC for gaming. I did not go into the BIOS, but I am certain that you can adjust the clock rates there to get the most out of your gaming experience. I am tempted to get another one of these to replace my 3-year old work laptop–I believe that the gaming features of this laptop would enable me to easily run databases and spreadsheets. All-in-all, it is a strong performer in a light, slim case. I am very happy with this purchase and believe it is a perfect graduation gift!

I took like a 30 mins to setup, not hard, just follow step by step. This Mallorca LX15 laptop is beyond my expectation. The Intel 12th Gen processor speed is fast and smooth performance for gaming and entertainment. I love to use it to watch movies. This laptop comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD and itâs storage can extend up to 2TB that can save a lots files, media and applications. The screen is 15.6in big but not heavy. This perfectly meets my needs for school purpose.
